At the Roundhouse near Chalk Farm they have Camden Beach. On the roof terrace there is sand and deck chairs and a place to play beach volleyball and a tiki bar to buy cocktails. We popped along after work, and when the sky is less grey I reckon it'll be a great place to spend summer evenings.

Camden Town
I was supposed to go to Canterbury on Thursday but the snow stopped me. So when I spoke to Lauren at lunchtime on Saturday I was so impressed by her spontaneity - she was gonna jump on a train and come and stay!
I took her to Camden on Sunday and we had a wander around the market. I bought a hairband from this stall for the wedding, we ate lots of sweets and spotted some cool books such as Meet Me At Mike's and Cake Pops. An amazing, random weekend!

Cryogenically Frozen
Camden is full of the weird and wonderful, and today we wandered into the chin chin laboratory at lunchtime. They freeze the ice cream in 40 seconds using liquid nitrogen! The process was explained by the gentleman above and he was very right in that it would be the smoothest ice cream I'll ever have. Chocolate with raspberry sauce and popping candy. Definitely pay a visit!
