Maud Handmade

I've been meaning to make a collection of jewellery from some old buttons for many years (a couple of years ago I tipped them all out onto the floor and preceded to match them up!!) Now I have got around to making the buttons into earrings and I've set up a new blog dedicated to my makings. This batch of earrings will be on sale this weekend at The Little Deer pop up shop in Shoreditch, London, but for the time being head over to maud.

Cee Gee

My friend Christina is heading on an expedition this summer with Raleigh International to Costa Rica to provide communities in extreme poverty with basic amenities. Being the creative girl that she is, Christina has designed a beautiful collection of jewellery inspired by Costa Rica's jungle bridges and volcano to raise money for the trip. To make a purchase of her limited edition jewellery, visit her online shop here or simply to make a donation, here! What an experience she's going to have - good luck XtinaG!

Big Beads

I'd like one of these please. A beautiful, ceramic bead necklace by Juliet Gorman of Digoyo. And it quenches my thirst for mustard!

Waffle Slabs

Organic plan form buildings do not make for simple construction solutions, or so I have found. Waffle slabs are not my friend, but I'm trying to change that. I shouldn't be distracting myself, but this image, from rickshaw via odetteny, has certainly cheered me up. I'd like to have some retail therapy, please!
