Neutral Garb

I'm very much enjoying the neutral tones of these outfits here. Recently I did purchase the tan leather Chelsea boots and a navy pea coat, which sets me off nicely, but one can never have too many knits. I'm a magpie for wool - I think it's my obsession!

Wear Colour

I don't understand how the weather in July can be so miserable! To counteract it we should all embraces brightness and wear a lot of colour and maybe the sun will follow suit...

Back Drop

As much as I like the outfit, there is something so animated about the New York skyline!

Holy Land

Last night my friend Ben and I booked flights for a trip to Israel. My dad works there sometimes and I think it's a great opportunity to visit a country that I wouldn't originally have thought to. There are so many places to visit, such as biblical sites as well as interesting modern architecture. I can't wait to wander round markets, and see the young hip Tel Aviv that I've heard so much about. Here's a travel guide, one about architecture and to see the style too!

Mustard Custard

I have had a minor obsession with anything mustard for the past few months and these snaps from Wayne Tippetts has only furthered this. Here is another from Street Peeper. I spotted this cardi a while back, and then this shrug but I think I may just knit myself a snood instead. I still wonder whether mustard goes with my dark blonde hair... the quest continues!

Work Wear

Now that I am a working woman I need some work attire. On many a style blog there are ladies wearing man-pants, smart trousers like these from American Apparel. Or I could nab a pair of my Dad's! I especially like the way they're teamed with a crisp t-shirt. Here is another idea. Really just gotta get shopping!

Little Distractions

I am very prone to blog wandering when I'm bored of my work, which is no bad thing doing a design degree. I've been given some great inspiration when I've stumbled apon certain designers. Although architecture and fashion are often linked for this forms and structure and I am indeed designing a textiles museum, the New York magazine Look Book, is just good distraction! I love looking at street style - I really liked this from Fashion Bits and Bobs today. I also like to here where people get there clothes from!

Work is coming along slowly but surely. Yesterday we had our first offer from Freecycle taken away, the two beds in my room. So I'm just sleeping on a mattress on the floor, poor love! I do have a new (double) bed on way to me soon though...

What they wear

I love love love street style blogs. Be it well known like The Sartorialist (great book!) or perhaps slightly lesser so such as Stil in Berlin, I think it's great to see what people are wearing all over Europe and America. It gives some great attire inspiration and really makes me want to go shopping! The photography is beautiful plus the backdrops for the photos are just as interesting in themselves.
At the moment I am sifting through Copenhagen Street Style showing 'everyday people' wearing little boots or shoes (which I am still in search of - I'm wearing my long black boots to death in this rainy weather) and massive knitted scarves, as above.

Once I have got to my deadline on Thursday, I am hitting the shops!!
