Primrose Treats

Having planned it yesterday, at lunchtime today we walked along the canal to Primrose Hill to visit the Primrose Bakery. I've heard of it, having seen the cookbook, but visiting it's very cute and sells a plethora of delicious cupcakes. Aaron had lemon, I had ginger fudge and Emma had carrot cake. I think it's going to be a regular destination on our lunchtime jaunts!

Lemony Morning

I've been planning on baking something for a week but only this morning have I finally had the chance. I bought lemons and so lemony sponge and lemony iceing it is! Yum! Reminded me of the lemony beer that we had in Vienna!

Lemon Drizzle

On a scorching day, I decided to get baking and these are my lemon drizzle fairy cakes!


It's the same recipe as these cakes, but I added lemon juice to the mixture. The drizzle is just runny icing made with icing sugar, water and lemon juice.
