Scrap Book

Here are some snaps from my Cut out and keep book - the original inspiration for my blog. I've neglected it for months now, so the other evening I got to gluing and sticking. I've discovered some really interesting places through the scrapbook. I have been meaning to visit Kรถnig Books on Charing Cross Road for ages so I was very happy to wander in yesterday. Also they stocked 49 Cities, a WorkAC book that I have been wanting for ages. A brilliant find.

I also received my 21st/graduation/Christmas present. A piece of computer equipment named after a fruit. Along with an Orla Kiely case - yipee!

Ice Blast

The last couple of days we've been making ice cream and sorbet's with Ma's new ice cream maker - what a great invention! It's so easy to do and I'm just thinking of more exciting flavours to try. I remembered cutting out and keeping something about Lola's on Ice, a psychadelic ice cream van, and the above image is the lemon balm and poppy seed ice cream (I've had this stuck up on my uni room wall all year!) I may try a variation this... and lots more too.
